Terms of Service

• I agree to accept the parking permit issued upon submission of this application and will use the privileges subject to the regulations listed.


• I will ensure I have properly registered my vehicle license plate when permit is purchased. I understand that not having the correct license plate may result in a ticket.


• I understand my vehicle license plate must be visible from the travel lane otherwise it will be subject to tickets.


• I understand that parking is at my own risk and I will familiarize myself with the parking rules and regulations. Visit www.uww.edu/parking for more rules and regulations.


• The parking regulations are enforced throughout the calendar year, this includes breaks and summer. Vehicles not abiding by UW Whitewater regulations are subject to tickets.


• Parking spaces with designated signs such as Restricted or Reserved require special permits.


• The registered owner is responsible for all violations attached to the vehicle and is thus subject to any and all forfeitures resulting from these violations.


• Vehicles that accumulate 3 or more tickets are subject to having the vehicle booted.


• Unpaid tickets over 80 days that have Wisconsin plates will be referred to the DMV for vehicle registration suspension. Out-of-state plates will be invoiced and sent to collections.


• The University reserves the right to close University parking lots for maintenance, snow removal, special events, etc. when necessary.


• I recognize and agree I am not entitled to a refund for any purchase under any circumstance.


• Ownership of this permit is retained by UW-Whitewater. Resale, transfer, or duplication is prohibited. Use is restricted to registered user. Unauthorized use may result in a fine, revocation, and prosecution for theft/misuse under 943.20(1)(a) Wisconsin State Statutes or UWS 18.08 (8).
